  • Mamma Catering operates from Ballina to Brisbane & Hinterland.

  • The minimum spend for Mamma’s catering services is $3,000 plus GST.

  • Mamma Catering does not set a certain amount of time on their service, but they allow a gap no longer than 2.5 hrs for their menu between starters-cocktail and mains.

  • Of course darling! I take great care to offer appropriate meals for all guests. We will confirm 2 weeks before the event the final number and guest dietary requirements, to be able to provide options that are suitable for any specific dietaries from the menu selected.

    In order to serve a suitable meal for all guests, we will need to know the exact number of guests with dietary conditions. Changes on the menu will not be able to occur on the date of the event. It is your responsibility to let your guests and us know who the ones with dietary requirements are, by telling them to let our staff know and by providing us full names if there is a seating plan. Please be aware most people that call themselves coeliac are only gluten intolerant. This is important as coeliac should never eat from our kitchen. Mamma has to be emphatic when I say that we DO NOT cater for coeliac.

  • Mamma offers a small Sample Tasting prior to a service engagement, which can be scheduled for any Sunday available at Mamma's home in Miami on the Gold Coast. This service carries no extra cost for the host.

  • Food quantity is calculated on a base to guarantee that every guest can be fed and satisfied after the service. Some items are provided in a limited quantity for each guest, and the "All-you-can-eat pizzas" service applies as a part of the main. While the catering team does their best to look after everyone during the service, they cannot guarantee the availability of items after they are delivered to the floor if any guest missed out on some part of the service.

  • The selected date and pricing contained in the quote are valid without a deposit for 14 days. To secure the function, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required. This amount is deducted from the package total as quoted.

  • Yes! the date can be changed under the "Change of date" policy. However, if menus have changed since our initial quote due to circumstances beyond our control, a new quote may occur.

  • The payment plan requires a $500 initial deposit (non-refundable). Fifty percent (50%) of the remaining balance is due 3 months (12 weeks) before the event, and the full remaining payment is due 4 weeks before the event once numbers have been confirmed.

  • If the full amount has been paid 4 weeks prior to the event, a refund will not be available in case of cancellation. However, rescheduling of an event is always available under the terms and conditions of the "Change of date" policy.

  • Rescheduling of the date is available as long as the change is made at least 3 months before the event. The deposit is non-refundable in this case.

  • A surcharge of 15% applies to the total for any event held on a public holiday.
